About the Artist

 

Hi! My name is Joy Bradley and I'm the artist behind Joy x Design. I Currently live with my husband and two dogs in Berrien Springs, MI. I'm a Michigander through and through; I've lived here all of my life and graduated with my Bachelors from the University of Michigan in 2013 and am currently a graduate student studying dietetics at Eastern Michigan University. I've always been a creative person, creating 3D art even as a teenager. 5 years ago I had the opportunity to travel to St. Petersburg, Russia (my first solo international trip!) in 2018 where I attended a 3-day giant flower master class. I was able to meet people from all over the world with the same passion, and learn new techniques in the art of giant flower designing. From there I built upon that knowledge to create my own artistic lane building structural installations with an ethereal, otherworldly style. Joy x Design is my testimony; an example of how amazing God is! As I continue my professional journey, I like to think of my career as one immersion experience that allows me to continuously grow with each project and collaboration.
